Bestway Sand Filter Pump for Above Ground Pools, Quick Installation
The Bestway® 800 gal Flowcear™ Sand Filter is a highly efficient and environmentally friendly way to keep clean water flowing through your above ground pool. It's also far more cost-effective than running a traditional filter pump system, as the pump uses silica sand instead of a filter cartridge. Where a filter cartridge may need to be replaced every 2 weeks, silica sand only needs to be changed once every 3 years.
The pump works by draining pool water through a hose and into the filtration system. Although water passes through the system with fantastic ease, the silica sand is so compact that it traps dirt and debris. Filtered water is then pumped down a separate hose and into the swimming pool inlet. Separating debris from sand, when the pressure gauge indicates that the corrosion-proof tank is full, is a simple case of turning it to its backwash setting. Once it has been separated, a waste hose is attached and the rinse valve is turned, flushing filth and debris to a suitable deposit area.
The Sand Filter is compatible with 300-4,200 gal pools. It makes an excellent upgrade to a traditional filter pump and is a fantastic way to enhance your above ground pool. The sand traps dirt and debris in a durable, corrosion-resistant filter tank as a pre-filter strainer basket catches larger debris, such as leaves, hair, and dirt, to ensure that the pump lasts many summers of use. Water flows through the pool pump at a flow rate of 800 gallons/hr.
The filter comes with the ChemConnect Dispenser, which maintains gentle and skin-friendly water by providing a stable level of chlorine that is evenly dispersed throughout the entire pool. This is a cost-effective solution, as a sand filter pump uses silica sand instead of a traditional filter cartridge. Those cartridges need to be replaced every 2 weeks, while the sand lasts up to 3 years. Sand is not included.
The product arrives pre-assembled for added convenience. A top flange clamp design with 360 degrees rotation is quick and smooth installation. The Sand Filter is compatible with most 300-4,200 gallon capacity above ground pools, and an adapter is included if the pool valve diameter has a diameter of 1.25 inches.
